Here we seem to be talking about the effect on nativeSQUIRREL
species. I am still interested in the effect on native BIRD species.
If the niche was unoccupied, and our native birds are unable to cope
with the introduction of a new species, there may be a negative
effect on their reproduction rates.
I still have not found out much about any studies or reported
findings about the effect on Eastern Squirrels and Western birds, and
would appreciate even annecdotal evidence from Tweetsters.
