Thanks to all who have responded to my Neotropical Migrant question,
especially those who pointed out that Seattle Audubon does have a list,
albeit disputable. I will stop by tomorrow and pick it up.

I asked because it was suggested that, for the Gap report, I compile
statistics on the protection status of Neotropical migrants in Washington,
chiefly because they are a hot topic these days. Which, of course, leads
to the question of how to define such a bird. (Following standard
scientific protocol, I'd rather cite someone else's list than leave myself
open to criticism for my arbitrary choices. <g> But the Robin seems to be
stretching the definition quite a bit, so I guess I'll be adding my own
opinions anyway.)
