Sorry for the delay in reaction, I'm on digest and behind...Hope it's not too
late.

I see you're getting answers on the defenition part and the American Robin. So
I'll concentrate on the species list.

I don't know if you can call it an official list of Neotropical Migrants, but
the Migratory Bird Subcommittee of the Seattle Audubon Society, Conservation
Committee, put together a Preliminary List of Neotropical Migratory Songbird
Species Found in King County, Washington, During Migration or Breeding Season.

It may be too limited for what you want, but it's a start. It lists species by
family, with codes for abundance, breeding status, population trend and
southern limit of winter range.
It lists 59 bird species, I'll only list that part here, since my time is
limited. If you visit the SAS office you should be able to pick one up or
perhaps they can send you one (206/523-4483 at 8050 35th Avenue NE, Seattle).
