At Marymoor today I saw an adult with FIVE babies. Is this in the normal
range for clutch size? I've never seen more than three, I don't believe.

Also, the babies were still rather small - probably too large to ride on mom,
but still quite small, grey, fluffy, and very stripe-headed. Isn't this kind
of late for PBGR breeding?

All were staying very close to the adult, and they were all the same size.

The adult and 5 babies were in the slough right next to the Marymoor windmill.
