An impressive mixed flock of of small passerines moved through the
trees behind Astoria High School at about 1140hrs this mornings.
They were all clearly moving together in a large feeding party.

Chestnut-backed Chickadee 4
Red-breasted Nuthatch 1
Yellow Warbler 3 (1AHYM,1AHYF,1HYU)
Wilson's Warbler 1 (AHYM)
Townsend's Warbler 7 (all age classes)
Black-throated-gray Warbler 4 (all age classes)
Hermit Warbler 1 (HY)
Yellow-rumped Warbler 1 (HY)

I would remind folks that any one going to potential migrant concentration
points this weekend keep a watchful eye out for these feeding parties. It's
not just shorebird migration time...
