Hi!

I discussed my seasickness problem with my doctor previous to our Alaska
trip in '96 and he wrote me a prescription for Meclizine Hydrochloride. I
used it on a day trip out of Seward and it helped me. I still didn't feel
wonderful but survived. It was a relatively calm day but every time they
stopped the boat to view something, the wake caught up with the boat and did
me in! I recognized a fellow sufferer and she had the same prescription.
I am _terribly_ susceptible to motion sickness and will never sign up for
a pelagic trip much as I would like to go.

I hate to take any drugs so for lighter circumstances, I keep gingerale on
hand and found it does help me.
