Ah, the fanciful collective mind of the mass media. I saw a print ad once (I
don't recall the product) that was obviously enhanced with computer
artistry. The photo was of a Brown Pelican in flight over a still fresh
water (I think) lake surrounded by coniferous forest (like something you
might see in northern Minnesota). Clutched in its bill was a stout looking,
brightly striped fish--very tropical looking.
