There were at least 10 SABINE'S GULLS flying in the gull flock off
the SJCR. Also 1 BONAPART'S GULL, 1 COMMON TERN and plenty of
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES. There were only about 200 gulls and 15
RED-NECKED PHALAROPES on the ponds. Surprising, I saw only one
SOOTY SHEARWATER from the observation deck.
