Hi, Tweeters:

This is a relay msg of a phone call from Diann MacRae ...

She had her first encouraging sightings today on the study which started two
days back, at Salt Creek on the North Olympic Peninsula (west of Port
Angeles, Elwha River and Freshwater Bay).

398 Turkey Vultures arrived across the Strait from Vancouver Island, 137 in
a first flight before 10:00, and another sizeable flight later morning.

Also, 3 Osprey, several Bald Eagles ... and 5 Brown Pelicans flying to and
fro in the Strait.

She'll appreciate getting any TV sightings from the NW. Emails to us will be
passed along.
