This is Dale Goble with the northern Idaho / eastern Washington /
northeastern Oregon bird hotline.

There were two reports of SABINES GULLS this week.

Mike Denny found a sub-adult bird on the Walla Walla River Delta this
morning. Also present were an adult PEREGRINE FALCON and many
shorebirds.

Just north of the delta on Hwy 12 at MP 300 were 210 GREATER
WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, numerous COMMON TERNS, and 3
FORSTER'S TERNS.

The second report was from Terry Little who found 2 adult SABINE
GULLS on Pond Oreille Lake where the Hwy 95 Bridge crosses the
Lake.
.
Terry also found BOREAL CHICKADEES on Smith Creek near the
Canadian border, a BROAD-WINGED HAWK at the intersection of
Twenty-Mile Creek Road and Hwy 95 about 2 miles north of Naples
(Idaho DeLorme p.62 A/B-3), and an EURASIAN WIDGEON on
McArthur Lake which is south of Naples.

Good birding!
