Eugene Hunn, Seattle, 20 Sept. 1997, noon

Just got back from a walk at Discovery Park, Seattle. Quiet on the migrant
front: just a couple of Warbling Vireos, an Orange-crowned and a Yellow
Warbler. Best bird was the immature Brown Pelican on the south side of West
Point. Also two Parasitic Jaegers flew by heading south, two phalaropes,
presumably Red-necked were off the point, and a juvenile Baird's Sandpiper
was with a flock of 15 Sanderlings and a single Western Sandpiper.

Good birding, Gene.
