JoLynn and I covered Bellefield Park this morning and had similar migrant
results to Gene's at Discovery Park: two Orange-crowned Warblers, two
Yellow Warblers, one each Townsend's and Black-throated Gray, and a Western
Tanager. Unexpected was one Savannah Sparrow. No vireos. Other than
that, three Wood Ducks (species known to nest there, though usually not
seen), big flocks of fruit-eating Cedar Waxwings (immatures by at least
3:4), and the usual residents. Nice morning, but no pelicans or phalaropes
