Hey Tweets,
Ocean Shores wasn't all that great today, I did get some good birds though.
Damon Point didn't have much, just the usual gulls and peeps with some
Black-bellied Plovers. The pond wasn't productive at all, with only a few
dabblers and some Harriers. At Bills Spit, I counted 52 Long-billed Curlews,
3 Whimbrel, and 11 Marbled Godwits. Also, there was one Merlin still hanging
around. At the Jetty, lots of surfbirds and black turnstones and 1 wandering
Tattler were present. I missed seeing any Common Terns and Kittiwakes, but I
did see a few shearwaters, and 1 Sabines Gull (which made my trip well worth
it). Thats about all.
Good Birding to everyone!
