Andy Stepniewski and I saw a Ruff fly from Bowerman Basin to between the
runways on Bowerman Airport Friday morning at about 9.00. It flew between
the second and third to last hangers from the west end. We studied it for
about fifteen minutes. Also on the airstrip Friday morning were 76 Sandhill
Cranes, eight Pectoral Sandpipers, one Snow Goose and one Greater
White-fronted Goose. I am sure that Andy will send a thorough write-up on
our weekend of birding in Gray's Harbor County.
