Andy Stepniewski and I were on the pelagic trip out of Westport yesterday,
9/20. We both took one Dramamine tablet and wore wrist bands. Here are the
results:

- the Dramamine put Andy to sleep for about three hours (the first
two and a half hours it was dark so Andy didn't miss too much); I felt no
adverse affects from the pill;

- since neither one of us suffered from any symptom of sea-sickness,
the wrist bands - coupled with the light dose of Dramamine - proved affective.

I must add, though, that since no one on the boat got sick, one might assume
that the ocean was calm enough that we might have survived quite well with
no preventative steps being taken. And I did not take a poll of the other
people on the boat to see if they had taken anything. I did see several
people drinking gingerale.
