Hi Tweeters,
Seattle Audubon is offering a new program for high school
students called BirdWatch: Seattle Audubon Student Naturalists.
Through the course of the school year students will build naturalist
skills, experience a couple of terrific field trips, meet experts in the
field, plan a service project, and have a great time with other
like-minded students. It sounds like a lot, but the program is designed
to fit a student's busy schedule. Our first meeting will be in late
October. Do you know any students (grade 9-12) who might be interested?
Have them call me at the SAS office, 523-0722. Better yet, e-mail me at
lyandah at seattleaudubon.org. Leave an address, and I'll send info.
Thanks!
