Thanks to those of you who have answered my query about loons with
pale bills. I have forwarded all of the notes to the man who first
saw the loon and is also on the Ohio Records Committee, Bruce Glick.
Bruce would not have a problem if the final decision is a Common Loon.

Michael, I have asked him to answer you directly or to me and I'll
forward it to Tweeters. I do not know if the pictures are still on
the Internet. I will try to find out.

I would just like to say that I have really enjoyed Tweeters! I was
in Seattle in July and found out about Tweeters and subscribed to it
upon returning home. Why? Because a group of five of us from
Columbus will be touring Washington and British Columbia from
10/4-10/12 (pelagics the last two days). The one thing that I have
enjoyed is the lively discussions about birds, snakes, bats, Indian
rights, and the good sightings. I am envious of Tweeters. Our Ohio
Birds is strictly for reporting bird sightings and since the
Yellow-billed Loon (?) episode, some of our birders are even afraid or
unwilling to report what they've seen.
