Tweeters,

Recently someone asked for reports on Turkey Vulture movements.
Yesterday, September 21, at 16:05, looking up while installing a bay window at
a friend's house, I spotted several Turkey Vultures. Over the next three
minutes 22 of them sailed by, low. This was at 155th & Densmore Avenue
(Shoreline, just north of Seattle). The birds were heading in a southwesterly
direction.
In years past, one of the firemen at the Bitter Lake fire station reported
Turkey Vultures circling up above the fire station in the morning, possibly
having spent the night in trees there (this was reported to Ernie Rose). The
birds we saw may very well have been heading in that direction.

Good birding!
