For those interested in monarch butterfly and many other
migrations, I recommend looking into Journey North, a
program for school kids that has been so popular the last
couple of years that they have expanded to include a
Journey South report also. There have been recent sightings
of large quantities of monarchs heading south, which is a
relief because the spring sightings and the drought in
prime milkweed country in the southern states made it
sound like monarchs were in for a hellaceous year.
