Hi Tweets,

Ruth, you've been on Tweeters long enough to know that getting a thread to
close before it's done just because a single individual is tired of it is as
likely as getting Lassie to perform the role of Cruella DeVille. '-)

As a result of a relatively new birder seeing this rare Arctic visitor and
deciding to share with us her sighting of what--to here--was an unfamiliar
species, we have had--so far--a good, energetic discussion of loon ID,
particularly in regard to Common/Yellow-billed Loon separation and overlap
features, learned something about Yellow-billed Loon behavior and added a
piece to the picture of this species' migration chronology on Interior
lakes. If the discussion has more legs, I'd sure like to see where it goes
from here.
