Tweets,
Today I had a juvinile male Annas Hummingbird, feeding on our fushias at
our apartment (Annas B). This is the second visit of the hummingbird that
I've had in the week, the first was on Sunday.
Because I have no Hummingbirds regularly visiting I don't hang a
hummingbird feeder up.
I had a juvinile male Annas last year on October 5, (lets call it Annas
A). These traits are stunningly familar. Since I've only lived in Seattle
for a year, I'm curious to know if long time residents of Seattle know
about patterns in juvinile Annas dispersal?
I'll be interested to watch how long this guy stays around. Last year
Annas A (or another juvinile bird) visited a week later, and then was
gone. However I had a Annas begin to irregularly visit during the
winter, beginning the week before Christmas. It left by the beginning of
Febuary. It was either a juvinile bird or a female. If
the pattern stays this bird, will at most be here another week or
so. Might I have a wintering Annas again? I didn't think that Annas
migrated alot, so during the winter do the Juvinile Annas stay in the same
area as they were raised? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
