Thankyou all who resonded to my post, I learned lots in the past few days
and I will be looking for that wonderful bat book. All I have is Bamfield's
Mammals of Canada.
I have not seen the bat for a few days now, but that was the case through
much of the summer, indicating that the bat has other roost sites. I am
assuming that the bat will leave soon and not spend the winter in my shed
(likely best for the bat to leave as was suggested) however it will be
interesting to see how long it 'hangs around'. If my slides turn out, I
will try to find a way to scan them and have them available for people to
see if interested.

It is good to be back on tweeters.
