Jerry, Thanks so much for the ncw bird checklist. I made several =
copies for friends. Question: Do you have any numbers in mind for the =
different levels, ie. abundant, unmcommion, etc. Where did you get all =
the info. from? Not having birded all those counties, it is hard for me =
to know how accurate they are? Does anyone have a checklist just for =
Douglas Co.? Comment on Ringed Turtle-dove: we have had one in =
Bridgeport since Thanksgiving last year. I've seen it, and heard it =
many times. Last I saw it was early Aug. This Sat. I and a friend =
intend to join the hawk watch at Diamond Head. Rick has been going up =
to the hawk watch on Cooper Mt. outside Chelan almost daily. I've gone =
up twice. Best day was 131 so far. Happy birding. Meredith
