Took the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston to look for parasitic jaegers
today. Were rewarded with many common terns around the ferry terminal
harbor which frequently lured the jaegers in for a chase. It was quite
a show. We had lunch and took the ferry back. As we were arriving in
Edmonds we saw four Heermann's gulls - had never seen them around
Edmonds before. Has anyone else?
