With regards to the mystery cormorant,
Amazingly, I was on the phone just last night with Adrian Dorst (of Tofino)
who was stunned by a 'potentially' similar cormorant in Tofino on Sunday
Sept.28. Over the phone, we poured over texts of cormorants and could not
find one to match. We tentatively passed it off as a partially albino
Pelagic Cormorant. The bird was described as an adult (having a green
sheen) but it was white on the belly. Unless my eyes deceive me, the photo
of this mystery cormorant appears to also have a white belly.
I find it quite coincidental to find these photos of a mystery cormorant,
the morning after having discussed a similar bird!

I will be talking with Adrian again with regards to this cormorant,
unfortunately, he does not have internet access to view the photos.
