Hi Tweets,

Just a quick off-the-top to fundraising by tax and licence: I'm very much in
favor of anything which buys land to help save our wildlife, but what is
there that a man, woman and child can buy anywhere in whatever volume
desirable that can support wildlife land acquisition for non-consumptive
activity (particularly dedicated birding) which doesn't involve going to a
particular kind of store to buy high-ticket items (not usually talking
bubblegum money when getting camping gear or birding optics) or getting a
required licence?

In other words, as hunters do for hunting, what can birders--not government,
not other organisations, but *birders*--do to put money on the table for for
buying up prime *birding* sites?
