Having just read through the thread about Yellow-billed Loons (or not), I
was astonished to see them mentioned here in multitudes, and without
further details. Also, how common are Thick-billed Murres on the US side
of the Juan de Fuca Strait? On the BC side, they are classified as very
rare summer and migrant visitors (no records for September to November in
Birds of B.C., vol.2, 1990).
