Today I birded the Nisqually NWR, where 71 species were noted under mostly
cloudy skies. Highlights included:

6 BLACK SCOTERS
1 Cooper's Hawk
1 "HARLAN'S" Red-tailed Hawk
2300+ Dunlin
1 R.B. Sapsucker
1 AM. PIPIT
1 N. SHRIKE
3 Hutton's Vireo
7 C. YELLOWTHROATS
8 Savannah Sparrows
