I saw an adult Bald Eagle at Sunset Hill Park this morning about 11 AM.
It was flying along the bluff S to N. This is probably as close as I've
ever been to a Bald Eagle, it wasn't more than 50 feet away at the
closest point.

Sunset Hill Park is in the Ballard district of Seattle on 34th Ave NW
between NW 75th and 77th Sts. on the bluff overlooking Shilshole Bay and
Puget Sound. Also present were two Steller's Jays, a Spotted Towhee, BC
Chickadees, Bushtits, ~50 Robins, an unidentified Hummingbird, Juncos,
unseen Flickers, Bewick's Wrens and several other birds that made me want
to practice my birding by ear skills. Lots of Crows and Gulls and just
down the block was a flock of what seemed like 1000 Starlings.

I'll keep up the Eagle reports until someone tells me to quit. . .
