COMMON MURRE Uria aalge is *very* unusual in the Inner Harbor: a

Michael, we have had Common Murres appearing in boat harbors,
even landing in people's driveways, during periods when they are
unable to find adequate forage out at sea. I realize one murre
doesn't prove anything in the case of Vancouver, but keep us posted
if more are found. Right now there is yet another big die-off
going on in the Bering Sea, with bodies being found mostly around
Unalaska.
