Spent a delightful hour this morning with some Sage Thrashers, enjoying
their songs and closeup scope looks as the birds sang from the tops of
sage brush.

The birds were near the rest stop on Eastbound I-90 at the top of the
hill between Ellensburg and Vantage. Walk up the gated service road about
a hundred yards and go right about fifty yards to the edge of a ravine.
The birds were all around that area.

Also great looks at Prairie Falcons and Rough-Legged Hawks on the Lower
Crab Creek Range.
