Hi--thought we had all gone to sleep! Will shorebird migration NEVER begin?
Thanks for posting your sightings. Here, in Graham, we seem to have a pair of
Varied Thrushes hanging around when we thought they would have headed
elsewhere. Meanwhile, the White-crowned Sparrows are singing up a storm and
the Spotted Towhees are absolutely scary: a lot of fast, swooping chasing and
one also making an unusual hiccupping sound from the TOP of a Douglas Fir. We
think he has lucked out! Regards,
