Method: 30 min timed count from viewing platform at Parking lot C
SJCR using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting on beach, sitting
on ocean or sitting on river.

Notes: A single BONAPART'S GULL sitting on the shorebird flats for
the entire observation period. Large rafts of PACIFIC LOONS were
just beyond the breakers and large rafts of RED-THROATED LOONS were
further out. BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKES were also seen in good numbers.
