Tweets,
Jim Flynn, Jason Starfire and I took advantage of the beautiful day to
spend some birding time in Kitsap Co. We recorded 88 species with the
following highlights:
2 Ospreys-one a Burley Lagoon near Purdy in Pierce Co. and one over
Driftwood Keys near Hansville.
1 Caspian Tern at Arness Park in Kingston.
2 Red-breasted Sapsucker-One at Kitsap Lk. One at Island Lk.
2 Male Wood Ducks and 6 or so Northern Rough-winged Swallows in the marsh
behind Buck LK.
A estimated count of 680 Bonapartes Gulls at Point no Point with 12-14
Marbled Murrlets.
