I've had nesting bushtits in a large
overgrown climbing rose and it was not that high, about 7 feet
off the ground.

Another time in a large fir tree! about 12 feet off the ground,
but relatively exposed to our front porch, which drove our
cat bonkers watching them.

My shrubs are finally filling in again after all these years and
I have hopes of bushtits nesting again.

Some chickadees checked out the box but so far no serious nesters
that i can tell. :(
