Went out Sunday for a leg stretch in Pack Forest (South Pierce co.-
on the way to Mt. Rainier) and saw the usual,
but wanted to comment on the numbers and easy viewing of Rufous
Hummingbirds. about one and a half miles down the left fork on Road
#1070, you enter a clearcut with views to the North and East, and the
current bushes are just full of Male Hummers, and they are close and
easy to look at.
