A group of hikers, birders, botanists, etc. from the Central Okanagan
Naturalists' Club, from Kelowna, BC, spent Easter Sunday hiking in the hills
and open grasslands on the west side of Okanagan Lake, between Peachland
and Summerland.

It's hard to say what was the trip highlight - the six mountain goats (three
on the west side of the lake, 3 on the east), the Western Bluebirds,
the Mountain Bluebirds, or the large flocks (approx 200 in total) of
Sandhill Cranes, heading north at a great height with a good, strong tailwind
from the south.
