On Sunday April 12, Maureen Ellis wrote ..."Finally, a female AMERICAN
KESTREL was spotted on power lines along the road between Port Townsend
and Chimacum..." This female was first spotted last week and is in the
exact same location (very close to mile marker 7 on Beaver Valley Road
aka Hwy 19) where a male has been hanging out for a little over a month.
Maybe we will have some young ones later this spring? I hope so!
