Subject: aliases

Hi Tweets,

I recently discovered a listprocessor feature of adding aliases, or
alternative email addresses. Many times a person subscribes from an email
address, but during the course of time their provider changes that return
email address. I've been putting in a bunch of these aliases recently,
especially for MSN subscribers.

The 'ole listproc, being a very literal piece of software, only recognizes
the exact original subscription address. If you believe your email
address has changed since you subscribed, please send me a private message
at dvictor at u.washington.edu. I'll check the subscription list and put in
an alias for you so that:

1) You'll be able to post to Tweeters [now subscribers only]
2) You'll be able to unsubscribe, or set your mail to postpone, digest,
etc.

Please don't send any of these responses to the list.

TIA,

Dan Victor, Seattle, WA <dvictor at u.washington.edu>
