Sorry that this is a bit late - I'd been messing around with being un-not-subscribed and just
fixed it over the weekend...

Took an early-afternoon, 45-minute low-tide walk on Easter Sunday along the "Indian Trail"
(or whatever the PC name for the route is, now..) to Three Tree Point in King County
(Seahurst, west of Burien) and back to its beginnings on Maplewild Ave. Didn't see anything
too exciting, but it was a nice hike in-between thundershowers. Must be Spring.... I saw:

Horned Grebe - most in alternate plumage
Red-necked Grebe - about 1/2 in alternate plumage
Brandt's Cormorants - 2 at Point; didn't see any Double-crested...
Surf Scoter
White-winged Scoters
Harlequin Duck - a pair of gorgeous birds! right at 3-Tree-Pt
Common Goldeneye
Red-breasted Merganser
Pigeon Guillemot - 2
Glaucous-winged/"Olympic" Gull - lots
Mew Gull
California Gull - 1
Bald Eagle - 1 adult
Killdeer - either heard a call (never saw the bird) or a great imitation by a starling...
Crow
Steller's Jay
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1 singing
Black-capped Chickadee
Robin
House Finch
Song Sparrow
Puget Sound White-crowned Sparrow
Spotted Towhee
House Sparrow
Starling - ubiquitous

Didn't see any of the Monk Parakeets at the Point, but it was pretty good for trying to bird
with a large dog splashing in the Sound, and a pack of kids checking out the squirting clams...
There were a LOT of gulls (and alcids/corms?) about 1/2-way between Three Tree and the
Des Moines marina, but I didn't have my 'scope.
