Southeastern Washington does not include the Palouse. Southeastern
Washington is south of the Snake River -- the Blue Mountains, primarily.
The Palouse is either part of the Collumbia Plateau or is its own region
depending upon how finally you want to slice things. Geologically as well
as ecologically the Palouse is/was before it was almost completely altered
by industrial agriculture the Palouse was a distinct biome.
