HOWEVER: there is a product especially designed to spray on your
clothes - not your skin. It is a Permethrin product in a
non-aerosol pump spray that you apply to clothing not on you at the
time, let it dry and then wear it. I have done this to pants
especially to wear in tick infested areas. If you don't get them
too dirty to wear again, the chemical supposedly lasts two weeks,
but having never worn the same pair of pants for two weeks, I cannot
vouch for this claim

Tuck pants legs inside socks that you also spray with repellent,
Even if you wear sandals, wear a very thin sock and spray the whole
