Jerry and other viewers of the Whiskered Auklet:

I think we would all like to read a detailed description of this bird. A
report of a sighting of this magnitude needs to be backed up with a
description as soon as possible to aid others who might want to try to find
it, if the description actually points to a Whiskered Auklet.

It is a good idea to carry a state checklist with you to keep yourself aware
of potentially exciting sightings.
