Gene Ammon is an older gentleman who donated his farm many years ago to the
public interest. The area he overseers is out in Arlington (still lives there
and loves to give tours and talk about all that he spots). In fact I believe
the 100 year trail has been planned to "mow" right through it for horse
trails. It is a fantastic spot to see everything from waterfowl to a great
area to spot numerous Harriers. I spotted my first American Kestral there and
watched an arial fight between a Red-Tail and Harrier on my last outing....
