The Vancouver BC drake Tufted Duck Aythya fuligula, usually at the W end of
Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park, has not been seen for several days and has
presumably departed, close to or on this species' average departure date of
4.15.

The first-year male Harris's Sparrow Zonotrichia querula is still in the
feeding area on the E side of the Stone Bridge over the channel leading to
the W end of the Lagoon, and is well-advanced into pre-Alternate molt, with
much black beginning to show on crown and underparts.
