Only in Seattle, I suppose, could one see a bald eagle displace four =
screeching parrots from the top of a tree, as I did on Saturday morning =
at Seward Park. Lots of waterfowl and spawning fish (squawfish?). On =
Sunday morning I bicycled into Magnuson Park and saw a pheasant ahead of =
me in the road, down near the boat ramp area. I believe it is a male =
silver pheasant. It had a red face, black underparts, red legs and was =
white and gray above. It later flew past me as I bicycled back out of =
the park, still near the boat ramp.=20
