I read "The Case of the Hook-billed Kite" probably 10 years ago and found it
to be very enjoyableand well written. Can't remember the author but s/he was
actually a birder. The story takes place in the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
Goof mystery and also quite funny doing a good job poking fun at birders.
