I went to Bear River a few summers ago and it was one of the best places
I've ever birded and I wasn't there at the "right" season! The
mosquitoes were also among the thickest I've ever seen in my life and we
never left our cars and still it was one of the best-ever birdng
experiences. Thousands of birds, easy to see and close-by. No wonder
it's one of "Roger Tory Peterson"s Top 12 Birding Spots" (according to
the book of that name)!

Happy bird-day,
Ken
