The 4/19 field trip of the Seattle Audubon wentto Neah Bay via Hywy 101
and returned via Hywy 112, weather was warm and calm for the day.

Highlights of the trip:

Seen on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry of 0710 were:
Western Grebe, Red-neck Grebe, Dbl-crested Cormorant, Brant, Bald Eagle,
Bonaparte's Gull, Pigeon Gulliemot.

At the Boardwalk at Cape Flattery:
Pelagic Cormorant, Harlequin Duck, Black Oystercatcher, Black
Turnstone Rhinoceros Auklet, Tuffed Puffin, Belted Kingfiwher, Winter
Wern, Song Sparrow

Just before you get to the parking area of the Boardway the road forks to
the right and goes up the hill side, a 1/2- 1 mile later it forks again to
the right, this turn takes you to a bluff over looking the Ocean and
Tatoosh Island. Seen here and on the road way were:
Kettle of Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcon, Rufous Hummingbird, Northern
Flicker, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Robin, Varied
Thrush, Golden-crowned Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow

At Neah Bay were:
American Wigeon, Oldsquaw, Surf Scoter, White-winged Scoter, Bufflehead,
Ring-billed Gull, Thayer's Gull, Glaucous-winged Gull, Violet-green
Swallow

On the way back to Port Angles via Hywy 112 were:
Turkey vultures, Black-tail Deer
