I have heard some very convincing Common Nighthawk like calls coming from
Eurpean Starlings recently (as well as excellent W. Meadowlark immitations,
etc.). I would echo other comments concerning the late migration of C.
Nighthawk and would be suspicous of any non-visual identification of this
species. I think it was also mentioned that nighthawks usually call
repeatedly or regularly when they do call.

Thanks, Charles.
